Information about artist: Bruno Mars’s real name is Peter Gene Hernandez. He was born in October 8, 1985. He was born in Hawaii. He comes from a long history of musicians. He started singing, producing and writing music at an early age. He decided to  pursue a career in music and after graduating high school he started producing songs.

He was featured in various songs. Some of these songs hit number 1. The songs are “Nothin’ On You”, “Billionaire”, “Round Right” and “Wavin’ Flag”. His debut album was Doo – Wops & Hooligans. For this CD he was nominated for seven grammys and won one grammy.

Plot Summary: This cd contains two number one songs; “Just the Way You Are” and “Grenade”. His two other singles are “Marry Me” and “The Lazy Song”. The other songs are “Our First Time”, “Runaway Baby”, and “Talking to the Moon”. The others are “Liquor Store Blues”, “Count on Me” and “The Other Side”.

Critical Evaluation: I know why this CD is popular among teens, because it is excellent. Mars has such a distinct style to his lyrics and songs. Every song is different from the other. The tunes are not just catchy, but they also are relatable to young teens.
