Information about artist: Shakira’s full name is Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll. She was born on February 2, 1977. She is from Columbia. In addition to being a singer, she is also a songwriter, record producer and dancer.

Shakira has thirty years in the business. She has made numerous CDs. The first and second CDs were Pies Descalzos and Donde Estan Los Ladrones?. Followed by her first English break out CD, Laundry Service. The next albums are Fijacion Oral Vol. 1 and Oral Fixation Vol. 2.

Plot Summary: Sale El Sol means the world comes out. The album contains 15 songs. The first three songs are “Sale El Sol”, “Loca” and “Antes De Las Seis”. The next are “Gordita”, “Addicted To You”, “Lo Que Mas”. The next are “Mariposas”, “Rabiosa”, and “Devocion”. The others are “Islands”, “Tu Boca” and “Waka Waka”. The last ones are “Loca”(English version), “Rabiosa” (English Version), and “Waka Waka” (English version).

Critical Evaluation: Personally, I love Shakira. She is one of my favorite artists. This CD contains a variety of songs. Some songs sound like her old rock songs while others sound like her recent pop sound. It is the best of both worlds. Teens, especially Latinos, can relate to this songs.
