Information about author: Lori Weber was born in 1959. She grew up in Canada. She earned her Bachelor and Masters in English. She started between high school and the university to do creative writing.She attended  Lori Weber has written novels for young adults. She writes about typical young adult issues.

Weber writes about relationships, bullying, maturing and family issues. She has written several novels. Some of these novels include Spilt, Klepto and Tattoo Heaven. Her other novels include If You Live Like Me and Strange Beauty. Currently, she works as a teaches English at a high school.

Plot Summary: Penny and her teenage friends tease an old woman because they believe she is not pretty. This old woman is a gypsy woman named Queen of Sheba. For a school assignment, she has to interview her grandmother and learns more about Queen of Sheba through her grandmother.

Critical Evaluation: This novel is part of the SideStreet novels. The SideStreet novels consist of Klepto, Split, and Tatto Heaven. All of these books have had positive reviews. I would have to agreed with those positive reviews.
